Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about boarding at The Namastable.
01 / Boarding & care
What does pasture boarding include?
Pasture board is $525 per horse per month. It includes 24/7 pasture living with access to shelter, daily wellness observations, supplemental hay as needed, and access to available farm amenities. Routine stall boarding is not included. Grain and supplements must be provided by the owner.
Can you feed my horse grain or supplements?
Optional grain feeding is $50 per month for each daily feeding: $50/month for one feeding per day or $100/month for two. Owners supply grain and supplements. Feeding times and individual needs are arranged directly.
Is stall boarding available?
Our boarding offer is 24/7 pasture living, not routine stall boarding. Individual special-care needs can be discussed directly.
What riding areas can I use?
The farm offers a round pen, outdoor arena, and property trails for riding.
Can I park a horse trailer?
Optional uncovered trailer parking is $50 per month, subject to approval and availability.
02 / Joining the farm
Is my horse a good fit?
Admission depends on temperament, pasture suitability, and compatibility with the resident animals. We do not accept stallions or aggressive horses. Individual turnout arrangements are discussed; we do not promise every horse will share one herd.
What health requirements apply before arrival?
A current negative Coggins, current veterinary and vaccination documentation, and active enrollment in Tennessee Equine Hospital’s Promise Program are required. Incoming horses must complete at least 10 days of quarantine before careful introduction. Exact health protocols are coordinated with our veterinarian. Documents are requested later, not in the initial inquiry.
How does quarantine work?
Incoming horses complete at least 10 days of quarantine before gradual herd introductions. Quarantine arrangements and move-in timing are confirmed individually before arrival.
How do applications and tours work?
Start with a short inquiry about you and your horse. Each inquiry is reviewed personally. Suitable applicants may be invited to a conversation and private tour. An inquiry is not a reservation or guarantee of admission. The exact farm address is shared privately with invited visitors.
How does the waitlist work?
Our private waitlist is based on compatibility rather than a guaranteed order of arrival. Joining carries no fee, deposit, or promise of a place. A deposit is requested only after a formal offer and signed agreement.
03 / Life here
When can boarders visit?
Boarder access is daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. Riding alone after dark is not permitted.
May I bring guests, children, or a dog?
Guest and riding rules are explained during the application process. Minors must be accompanied and supervised. Visiting dogs are not permitted, subject to applicable service animal law.
Can I bring an outside trainer?
Outside trainers, paid lessons, clinics, and commercial activities require express written authorization. Discuss any proposed arrangement with us before making plans.
What are the smoking and alcohol rules?
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are not permitted anywhere on the property.
How are payments handled?
Approved applicants receive a boarding agreement and secure electronic invoices. The refundable deposit is $525 per horse, due with the signed agreement to secure the agreed place. The first month’s board is separate and due before arrival, with an agreed midmonth start prorated. The signed agreement explains billing and termination terms.
